How to craft a Candle in Survival Mode?
1. Open the Crafting Menu
Then, open your crafting table to find the crafting grid 3×3 that appears like this:
2. Add Items to Make a Candle
Within the menu for crafting, you will find a crafting area that is comprised of a 3×3 grid for crafting. To make a candle put the string and one honeycomb within the 3×3 grid of crafting.
When making candles the honeycomb and string must be placed in the same pattern shown in the picture below. On the initial row, there must be one string in the middle of the box. In the second row, you should have one honeycomb inside the middle of each box. That is the Minecraft recipe for crafting the candle.
Once you’ve filled your crafting space with the appropriate pattern The candle will be visible inside the box to the left.
3. Move the Candle to Inventory
After you’ve created candles, you must transfer the item into your inventory.
